The Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve and it´s sorrounding areas like Nono, Mindo, Maquipucuna, Tandayapa, and many others, make an excellent place for butterfly watching tours.  There are multiple quiet and remote areas where you can find unique and exotic butterflies.

We can provide specialized tours for those interested in capturing a photo of that exotic butterfly. We offer comfortable and 100% ecological stay at our cabañas.  We do not catch or preserve!

On September of 2008 we received the pleasant visit of three members of The Hong Kong Lepidopterists Society who´s helped us gather this impressive photographic record of butterlfies; we found samples of the following families: Papilionidae (Swallowtails), Pieridae (Whites and Yellows), Riodinidae (Metalmark, Punches and Judies), Nymphalidae (Brush-footed), Lycaenidae (The Blues), Hesperiidae (The Skippers)
