Cabañas Copalinga
A birder’s dream place where the comfort of the lodge and friendship of the owners is a starting point for viewing some fantastic birds. Copalinga is located between the town of Zamora and the Podocarpus Bambuscaro Park entrance. it is at 900 MASL but the trails go all the way up to 1,300 meters. There is a great list of birds, more than six hundred, that belong to Podocarpus National Park. This wonderful place is a true ecolodge with many green practices and an impressive 2 KW (home made) hydroplant that supplies power to the entire operation from 9 am to 9 pm.
