WildSumaco Lodge
This new lodge is well situated at the foothills of the Sumaco volcano. The trail system is very well maintained and provides access to different types of forest giving a very good opportunity to see many birds of the eastern foothills.
The Sumaco volcano and its surrounding forest is part of the Sumaco National Park with an approximate 200,000 hectares of forest. This national park has remote areas that are still untouched by humans and the UNESCO has declared it as The Sumaco Biosphere Reserve for its protection.
