Mashpi Reserve

At 1200 to 1350 MASL (3936 4428 ft) is a medium altitude private cloud forest located on the Pacto road 9 km past La Delicia; it is possible to bird along the road on the entrance to the new Mashpi owned by Metropolitan Touring.

This is an excellent place to see the Indigo Flowerpiercer, the Moss-backed Tanager, the Glistening-Green Tanager, and many other difficult to see birds.
