Cabañas San Isidro
This legendary place for birding on the east slope is located at 2000 MASL altitude about 20 minutes past Baeza on the road to Cosanga and Tena. They are protecting approximately 1300 ha of forest in conjunction with Yanayacu Biological Station (YBS).
The lodge and the trails are first class and the birds are as I said, legendary! The conservation efforts and the dedication of Mitch and Carmen are truly commendable.
