Septimo Paraiso Cloud Forest Reserve
At 950 to 1650 MASL (3116 to 5412 ft) is a medium altitude private reserve located on the Mindo road. It has 420 hectares (1037 acres) of primary and secondary recovering cloud forest. It is protected by the Fundacion Green Mindo since 2001. This private reserve has a large Ecolodge with 22 comfortable private rooms charmingly decorated. Is has a great restaurant, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, and a large meeting room.
We will spend most of the day on its five very productive trails. The humming bird feeders are well attended and the lodge grounds can also be an interesting place to see some of the common birds.
